This club was created to educate UVic students about the mining industry and offer them connections and networking opportunities with professionals. Currently the club is based around designing an automated fault prevention system that can be implemented into the high voltage switches and motor control centers in a mine. There are five distinct teams that are formed from members of the club. We offer a Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Integration and a Fundraising team that are open to all Undergraduate and Graduate students to join.
