About V Social Foundation

V Social Foundation started operating in 2001 under the name of viSozial by an initiative of members of the tour operator Viventura (https://www.viventura.de/). viSozial e.V. was officially founded in 2005 to work independently and effectively. In 2008 our NGO received the recognition of charitable status from the responsible tax office and fiscal authorities in Germany. In 2016 we changed the focus of our statute together with a rebranding. Since 2017 V Social Foundation exclusively supports community projects worldwide. The Foundation wants to help communities to develop a sustainable community strategy and/or supporting them e.g. financially in different aspects (official guide trainings, etc). The aim is to help projects to benefit from sustainable tourism. Therefore, we do not only support with money, more important in the knowledge transfer. We only support communities that want to establish sustainable tourism in their community by self-motivation. Our mission: We create powerful connections between people and their territories to foster the autonomy and well-being of communities. Our promises: Impact Every cent of your donation counts.
