About Vaccine Ambassadors

Through a joint initiative, Facilitating Equitable Access to Vaccines in the Americas, with our partners at the Pan American Health Organization, Vaccine Ambassadors funds the purchase and shipping of high-quality vaccines for children and families residing in Latin America and the Caribbean. In order to maximize impact, vaccine selection is based on priority needs identified by in-country public health experts. In addition to addressing routine immunizations, Vaccine Ambassadors provides emergency vaccines following natural disasters and during humanitarian crises. To date we have provided nearly 1 million vaccines covering 12 different diseases. Pandemic-related disruptions and the diversion of resources from routine immunization programs have left millions of children at risk for many life-threatenting vaccine-preventable diseases worldwide. Vaccine Ambassadors leverages the goodwill of individuals and organizations to become partners in this important global health initiative. Together we can make a lasting impact that is tangible, affordable, and profoundly meaningful.
