About Valentia Ice Cream Parlour and Farmhouse Dairy
Welcome to Valentia Ice Cream! The Daly's are third-generation dairy farmers at Kilbeg, on the beautiful Valentia Island in South West Kerry. Our herd is 70 strong, happy, well-fed pedigree Holstein Friesian cows. In 2006, we began to investigate ways to bring added value to our farm and the milk that is produced by our herd. With the high cream content and excellent quality of the milk produced, we decided that what Valentia Island and the Skellig Coast needed was farm produced ice-cream and of course, an ice-cream parlour. Everybody loves ice-cream, right?
