Valkyrie Floor Angels is a harm reduction and awareness collective based in Enschede, the Netherlands. It is dedicated to reshaping nightlife culture into something safer, freer, and more caring. We collaborate with events, venues, and organizers to create inclusive spaces where everyone guests and crew alike can feel supported and respected. We believe that a truly safe space is one where people can dance with their eyes closed, without fear of judgment, harassment, or having their physical boundaries crossed without enthusiastic consent. Our trained Floor Angels move with the rhythm of the crowd, blending in while remaining present and approachable. They’re equipped to de-escalate tense situations, provide emotional support, and help create a nightlife culture rooted in care and consent. Our presence helps events remain joyful, while also being intentional about safety. Beyond the dancefloor, Valkyries offers tailored workshops for organizers, venues, and community members. These sessions explore topics like harm reduction, bystander intervention, consent, crisis response, and inclusive communication. Our Organizer Workshop integrates academic research with hands-on experience and is adapted to fit the unique needs of each event. We also create supportive environments through: - Chill-out areas where guests can decompress - After-care goodie bags that promote post-event well-being - Interactive Information Booths with tools, zines, and harm-reduction materials that invite reflection and engagement We believe safe spaces are not a luxury but an essential part of any cultural event.
