About Valley Orchard Group
Valley Orchard Group is an International Development Organization currently operating an Economic Development project in Senegal. We see a growing need for job creation projects as the population in sub-Saharan Africa is only getting bigger and the employment opportunities are not meeting this need. Therefore, Valley Orchard Group is creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem where we provide; Grassroots entrepreneurship training, access to finance and ongoing business support. We believe that by providing the support to increase the number of legitimate registered businesses we grow the economy by creating jobs and support the national government goals. Subsequently, we provide up-skill and recruitment services to help individuals enter the marketplace. After our pilot program in 2022 where we place 70 individuals into work within a 6 month period, we also supported 17 entrepreneurs to create viable business plans which will go on to create jobs. We now aim to produce a minimum 20 new businesses year on year in every country we operate in.
