Valley Self-Defense is a unique self-defense gym located in the beautiful town of Stillwater, Minnesota. The gym is dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages and backgrounds to learn self-defense techniques taught by trauma-informed instructors. At Valley Self-Defense, the instructors recognize that many individuals may have experienced trauma or have a history of trauma, which can impact how they learn and approach self-defense. We have done our best to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, empowerment, and resilience. The gym offers a variety of classes for individuals of all levels, including Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, First Aid, yoga, permit to carry, and more. Each class is taught by experienced instructors who are committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning experience for all students. Krav Maga classes focus on practical self-defense techniques that are designed to help individuals defend themselves in real-life situations. The techniques are easy to learn and apply, making them suitable for individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and skill levels. In addition to the regular classes, Valley Self-Defense also offers a range of workshops and seminars that cover topics such as situational awareness, de-escalation techniques, self-defense for women, and more. The workshops are designed to provide individuals with practical skills and knowledge that they can apply in real-life situations.
