Located in the north of Italy, close to Switzerland, Valmed srl is the perfect partner that grants experience and know-how in the production of finished or half-finished medical devices, with large experience on treatment and processing of any plastic compound. The main tehcnology is the high frequency welding process used to manufacture bags (for any kind or field of application) and components (pillows, chambers or others for which this technology is suitable). Valmed opened the current new HQ and new production plant last April 2013, located in Tovo di Sant’Agata (SO). The new building covers 1500 meters squares and its design is studied for medical devices production, paying particular attention at the internal different workplaces division. The building consists in two clean rooms, which measures respectively 350 and 150 sq. meters, both of them joining class ISO8. The data loggers are placed there to have temperature and humidity always under control. Full production site is also equipped with central suction system designed and developed to improve the quality and cleanliness of the clean room. The pass box – located between clean and boxing room – takes place where the raw material is loaded and the finished product is packed. The 400 sq. meters warehouse contains up to 500 pallets, shared in clearly defined areas as: non-conforming materials, incoming materials, approved raw materials and approved finished products. All accesses are regulated with personalized badges. Moreover each door is equipped with red/green traffic lights to check the opening. The new building is equipped with geothermal power plant that supplies the Air Handling Unit with both cold and warm water at the same time, to keep high quality standard and have zero environmental impact.
