Value Added Solutions is a private company with no affiliation to any particular Insurance provider. As such we are not limited to any particular product provider and trade products from all Insurance Companies. Value Added Solutions main area of focus is the Financial Intermediary and providing a sale facilitation service to the intermediary. We do not source policies directly from the Life Insurers but work entirely through Brokers and we pride ourselves on our ability to build and maintain long- term relationships with these Brokers. Value Added Solutions is an authorized Financial Services Provider, FSP 8480. Combined management and staff experience in the second hand market, is in excess of 25 years. WHAT'S TRADABLE: Below follows a very broad outline of what is tradable, but not all policies matching those listed below will be tradable. Value Added Solutions advises that any policy to be surrendered be referred for valuation. ▷ Reversionary Bonus Policies (life and endowment) issued by Old Mutual and Sanlam. ▷ Policies that cannot be surrendered during the initial first five years-both rand denominated and offshore. ▷ Smooth Bonus Policies issued by Old Mutual. ▷ All Restricted Policies i.e. Policies that have had a loan and part surrender done and cannot be surrendered. ▷ All guaranteed endowment policies with term to run to maturity. Kindly note that Value Added Solutions does not trade Matured Endowments, but understands that this type of policy does have some tax advantages. Value Added Solutions is able to source this type of policy should demand arise.
