About Value Chain Hackers
Value Chain Hackers: transforming supply chains from within At Value Chain Hackers, we believe supply chains can be more than a way to move goods. They can be engines of environmental and social change. Our open lab and community bring students, professionals, researchers, and companies together to tackle real challenges in fields such as food, critical raw materials, or textile. Each 20-week cohort is a space to experiment, test, and scale ideas that make supply chains not only efficient but also fair, transparent, and sustainable. What we do: - Turn complex supply chain problems into tested, practical solutions - Build collaborations across business, academia, and communities - Support companies in meeting sustainability demands without losing viability - Help people develop the skills and confidence to drive systemic change How we do it: - Teams work hands-on with real cases, mapping systems and finding leverage points - Solutions are tested in practice, not just on paper - Outcomes are shared openly, so others can build and scale what works Why it matters: Supply chains shape the way resources are used, how people are treated, and how resilient our societies are. Too often they still drive waste, inequality, and ecological harm. By challenging unsustainable practices and prototyping alternatives, we aim to shift supply chains into a force for good. Together with our community, we are hacking the value chain, step by step, project by project, to build futures that are viable for business and vital for the planet.
