“Vámonos Tours” is a unique educational tour company that has been running cultural immersion tours to Puerto Rico since 1996 and now people-to-people tours to Cuba as well. We are educators first, so expect meaningful cultural experiences, off the beaten path itineraries, and plenty of real Spanish practice for language groups. Our travelers’ safety and the educational quality of our tours are paramount. No one knows our island like we do. “Vámonos Tours” specializes in cultural immersion, incomparable adventure, real Spanish, and science-filled tours of U.S.’ Puerto Rico and Cuba. We cater to student and adult groups in the US interested in getting to know our Cuba and Puerto Rico from within. We eat where locals eat, stay where locals stay, and even learn to speak like locals. We prepare students to be culturally sensitive travelers, and allow them to be participants in the culture, not just observers. We have more than 30 years' combined experience teaching immersion in the classroom and leading tours. Our priority is to immerse our travelers in our culture in a safe environment through daily-life interactions between them and Spanish speakers.
