About Van-Aid

Van-Aid is a registered CIC charitable "not for profit" organisation. Started on March 1st 2022, Van-Aid was formed to provide a direct and secure transport solution to get aid of all types from the UK to the Polish and Slovakian border areas to provide humanitarian and medical relief for Ukrainians fleeing the conflict. Using our secure links in the Ukraine we are able to transfer aid at the borders to be delivered as far as is necessary to where aid is required most. All aid we deliver is "targeted". i.e. a request comes from our contacts through various networks such as the Catholic Church in Ukraine, City Councils and others for supply requirements. We then source and load what's needed and transport directly to the recipient or, if it is in the Ukraine, transfer to our trusted and fully verifiable transport partners to complete the delivery in country. We do not deliver to warehouses as the security of these is questionable and aid supplied for the needy is required asap and not "later". We work with networks from nations across many countries helping to source and deliver an ever expanding service. At Van-Aid we are a true voluntary but professional service. The management team do what we do for the greater good with no financial reward. Up to May 1st we had done around 90 vehicle trips over to the troubled areas making us one of the largest and most efficient humanitarian aid transporters in the UK........on little or no financial support for our drivers most of whom have paid their own expenses and vehicle costs by self-funding - approximately 2k loss per trip for a van and 8.5k loss for a truck. We will continue with our work as long as it is financially viable for this campaign and on into the future where and when our services are required.
