Van der Sar Import imports and supplies decorative pots, vases and planters which are developed together with producers in Eastern Europe and several countries outside of Europe excepting China. Grower pot determines the size We supply our products to plant export companies, wholesale florists, garden centres, retail chains and growers. Since so many of our ceramics and glass pots are intended for plants, we have almost entirely based our production on the sizes of existing grower pots. Even our hand-woven baskets from Indonesia conform to these dimensions. Ceramics Most of our ceramic pots, vases and planters are produced in European factories. We supply exclusive, limited-edition products as well as standard pots in larger series that are sold at very competitive prices. We carry a wide range of products which is expanded on a regular basis. Glass in the broadest sense We produce our own line of glass pots that can be ordered in around 150 colours. All feature a consistently high level of quality and can be delivered within 3 to 4 weeks. Hand-woven baskets By producing baskets made of rattan as well as other materials in our own factory in Indonesia, we can guarantee the quality and dimensions of these products. Although the delivery time for these products is slightly longer, we always ensure our most important models are kept in stock, ready for immediate delivery. Corporate social and environmental responsibility We take pride in the quality of our products but we are also committed to the social and environmental aspects of our production process. None of the workers in our factories have to contend with unacceptable working conditions. We accept our responsibility to help our factories produce more effectively and efficiently while also considering social and environmental issues.
