About Vancouver International Travel Expo
VIT Expo Inc. is a division of Talk Travel Media. Starting out as a travel television program before being launched as Canada’s first online digital travel magazine, Talk Travel Media has been part of Canada’s travel industry for 10 years. It has since expanded to include a trade publication distributed to travel professionals in Canada and the United States, as well as a consumer magazine distributed through the Globe and Mail. The 2017 show will mark the second year for the Vancouver International Travel Expo, after a highly successful first year in 2016 which saw over 400 participating travel agents. Total consumer attendance over the two-day event was just under 6000. The high quality of exhibitors drew a high quality audience. To ensure an even bigger audience for 2017, we will be streamlining our marketing and consumer awareness efforts to focus on media outlets that gave us the best results in 2016. The 2017 show is scheduled for September 29-30, at Exhibition Hall A on the West side of the Vancouver Convention Centre. This new location has almost double the capacity of last year’s show, with more flexibility to accommodate larger booths and pavilions.
