About Vancouver Singapore Film Festival
The Vancouver Singapore Film Festival Society (VSFF) is a non-profit organization devoted to showcasing Singapore films in Vancouver. VSFF exists to educate and entertain while promoting quality Singapore films to audiences in Vancouver. Targeting a diverse range of audiences, it aims to introduce Singapore to Vancouver’s multicultural communities through the creative work of Singaporean filmmakers and their films, while providing insight to Singapore’s diverse heritage, modernization and multiculturalism. VSFF also provides a platform for both emerging and established Singaporean (local & overseas) filmmakers to showcase their work in Canada. Through its annual film festival and other events, VSFF hopes to forge friendships and unite filmmaking interests between Singapore and Vancouver, two of the world's most dynamic multicultural cities.
