About Vanderbilt Comprehensive Assessment Program
The Vanderbilt Comprehensive Assessment Program (VCAP) is designed for adult professionals experiencing emotional or behavioral concerns that affect their work behavior or quality, such as addiction, burnout, disruptive conduct and stress. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with our clients to explore and understand underlying issues. We provide consultation with the client's workplace on a need-to-know basis. Together, our team, the client and the workplace design a plan to resolve the client's underlying issues, enhance personal growth and promote professional success. We are the only program in the Southeast—and one of only a few in the nation—to offer independent comprehensive psychological, psychiatric and social evaluation for professionals. Since the program began in 2002, we have provided assessments for more than 950 professionals from the United States and Canada.
