About Vanee Foods Company
The Vanee Foods Company manufactures shelf stable entrees, gravies, sauces, soups and soup bases. The Company serves a diverse customer base, from co-packing for leading global food brands to developing custom formulations for national and regional chain restaurants. Founded in 1950, Vanee Foods remains family-owned and managed. The company operates two USDA-inspected production facilities in the near-western suburbs of Chicago. The Berkeley plant features a flexible preparation area to feed multiple canning lines capable of handling several can sizes. The Broadview plant is home to three separate operations: a high speed canning line for 404x700 and 401x602 cans; a hot/cold-fill liquid bottling line, capable of sizes ranging from 250mL to 1 gallon; and a soup base / dry-blending operation with multiple prep areas, 6 mixing rooms, and 13 packaging lines. All finished goods from both plants are sent to our 130,000 square foot distribution facility for final delivery to customers all across the country. Vanee Foods works with a wide variety of customers in three primary business segments: FOODSERVICE - with a product offering in many categories, from broths and gravies (both dry mix and ready-to-use), chilis, entrees, soups and soup bases… all the way to specialty sauces for wings, Vanee ingredients find their way into the menus of every type of food-away-from-home operation.
