Vanek Whiskey Events was founded by Tom Vanek; a passionate whiskey connoisseur who has spent much of his professional career making presentations come to life. Working with corporate and private clients, fundraisers and fun seekers, as well as connoisseurs and the curious, Tom’s custom-tailored whiskey events delight the senses, entertain the individual and educate the palette. With popular whiskey event formats ranging from a formal whiskey tasting to the less formal whiskey tasting bar (great for large corporate galas, parties or hospitality suites), Tom leverages his great knowledge of whiskey along with an engaging and entertaining presentation style, to make even those guests new to whiskey quickly at ease, and ensures that event objectives are realized. Added to this format flexibility is a passion at Vanek Whiskey Events for sharing the great diversity of flavours found in whiskeys from around the globe. Be it the flavours found in Scotch from the UK, Bourbon from America, Canadian Rye from our own backyard, or other whiskeys from even further afar, the only limiting factor in our event whiskey selection is what we can get our hands on. Ultimately our goal is to have guests take away with them some new and exciting whiskey experiences, be they sipped, nosed or learned; ideally all three! .
