About Vanguard Laboratories

Vanguard Laboratories is a people-centered laboratory founded by Nathan Keele and Scott Larsen in Salt Lake City, Utah in September of 2021. Nathan founded Keele Medical at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to help laboratories locate and service patients who were most at risk of the virus. After working with over 13 different laboratories in a span of 13 months, Nathan and Scott set out to solve many of the persistent issues they came across in the industry as a whole, i.e.; slow turnaround times, poor communication, lack of customer service, outdated systems, and an absence of innovation. Since September of 2021 Vanguard Laboratories has gone from an idea to a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. We service clients in eight states, with clients that include care centers, doctors offices, school districts and corporations. Our use of technology is evident in the cutting-edge client portal, designed to enhance patient visibility and alleviate the headache of not knowing when your results will come in. Every week for the past three months we have brought on new clients, showing sustainable growth. Vanguard Laboratories is a premium laboratory that specializes in PCR Molecular diagnostic testing. Our laboratory is specially designed to perform PCR testing for diagnostic tests such as COVID-19, Respiratory panels (RPP), Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), Wound care, Vaginal Microbiota (Vaginitis), Fungal, sexually transmitted diseases (STI), drug screening, and toxicology. Our clients include skilled nursing facilities, care centers, podiatrists, dermatologists, schools, and other organizations with needs for laboratory testing. Vanguard is the next generation of clinical testing and we pride ourselves in excellent customer service and innovation with all of our products and services. Vanguard Laboratories can also assist with specimen collection for locations where that is needed.
