Vanquish Carbon® Advisors (“VC”) is focused on limiting global warming to well below 2º, preferably to 1.5º Celsius by permanently removing high-quality US-based commercial thermal coal from the global power generation marketplace. As such, Vanquish Carbon is a project developer of thermal coal based carbon credit offsets (”CCOs”) that have the quality, scale, security, and affordability to make a positive impact on the CO2 fueled climate emergency. Our mantra is “keep it in the ground.” Vanquish Carbon Advisors approach the development process of data support, ownership and verification by utilizing regulatory and SEC guidelines (17 CFR Parts 229, 230, 239, and 249). Additionally, the CCO’s support data has a stringent calculation of carbon volumes, leakage, and functional equivalence that originate from well-respected third-party publicly available sources (i.e.. Energy Information Agency (“EIA”), The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (“IPCC”), and others). In concert with Radicle BMO, as co-author, Vanquish Carbon Advisors methodology and protocols meet or exceed the United Nations and climate industry’s definition of voluntary carbon credits. Vanquish Carbon Advisors’ CCOs use U.S. Security Exchange Commission guidelines, processes, rules to calculate coal volumes, quality, and commerciality – one of the only global CCOs that has a nationally and internationally recognized volumetric standard. Vanquish Carbon’s CCOs are not just methodology based CCOs, but commodity based assets ready to be exchanged. Vanquish Carbon® re-invests up to one-third of its carbon credit proceeds back into Environmental, Social, and Green Energy Projects that support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
