About Vanuatu Aquatics Federation (VAF)

Vanuatu Aquatics Federation (VAF) is the national sporting organization for aquatic sports in Vanuatu. VAF's mission is to develop and promote swimming as both a recreational and competitive sport throughout the country. VAF recognizes that World Aquatics (AQUA) is the only body, which governs swimming, open water swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, Masters programme/activity, internationally and inclusive of all activities recognized by AQUA. As a Pacific island nation, Vanuatu enjoys an abundance of swimming areas. To date, however, ni‐ Vanuatu children and youth have not had access to quality swim training, nor the ability to learn or develop as a swim athlete.
