Varley Transport was formed by Murray and Roxy Lumsden in 1985 from the rural community of Varley 430km South East of Perth. The business at that early stage revolved around the local fuel distribution service in the Lakes region. the business grew into servicing local farmers with their bulk haulage and the business grew with the local farming community. Over the years the business has strived to diversify to strengthen the business, this includes Earthmoving in the Pilbara, Livestock Transport, spreading geographically throughout the Wheatbelt servicing the communities of Narembeen and Beacon, servicing end users in the Perth metro area and more recently moving back into the Fuel industry where it all began. Moving forward the business today is still owned and operated by the Lumsden family, managing clients’ transport needs throughout Western Australia. All family members are actively involved in the business and have a passion not only for the business but working with their long-term clients, many who have been part of the journey since 1985. The business is headquartered from a state-of-the-art transport depot in Forrestdale WA, it contains a modern maintenance and repair facility along with offices, hardstand and truck wash facilities. Over the years there is one thing that hasn’t changed for the business, the old fashioned service that built our business in the 80’s is still our core strength. The service we provide is second to none and that’s what makes us stand out from the crowd.
