We were founded by Sam Vaughan and Chip Vaughan The company has grown over the last few years, retaining 60 full-time employees to tackle larger electrical projects that spread around Durham, Wake, and Orange County. Vaughan Electric Co. Inc has been devoted to community affairs in a multitude of ways throughout the years. Sam is a dedicated member and officer of the Triangle Shrine Club, Amran Shrine Temple, and Oak Grove Ruritan Club and 33 degree Mason of Scottish Rite. Both Sam and Chip are members of the Oak Grove Masonic Lodge and Durham Electrical Contractor's Association. They are both members of CECA that oversees electrical contractors' activities and Sam is a member of CECA's Board of Directors. Sam feels that the fellowship and networking among the electrical contractors throughout the state of North Carolina is very important.
