The Vision for Vault is to give a platform to the millions of independent filmmakers worldwide overlooked or pushed by the wayside for larger Hollywood productions. VAULT will give independent artists in the realm of film, TV, and Music a platform and help bridge the gap between their hard work and the fans who want to see it. The streaming industry is a $40 Billion a year industry and only represents 10% of the created content. With millions of independent filmmakers worldwide, only 800 films on average get a theatrical release of any kind; aside from theatrical release, films are released through streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney, and Amazon. Every year there is an average of 15,000 films and TV shows streamed on all platforms in total. Mainstream studios and services usually overlook independent Filmmakers who put hard work, time, and money into their passion projects. Minority Independent filmmakers are by far the most overlooked and underutilized group in the industry. Film festivals worldwide receive hundreds of thousands of film submissions every year from filmmakers around the world. Ninety-nine percent of all film festival films are independent 95% of film festival films are never viewed again after the year's festival season is over. VAULT will change that by giving the independent artist a voice and a platform to hear them from. Independent films and artists make up more than 90% of the world's entertainment creation, but it only makes up 5% of the world's content consumption because of the lack of a platform to show it.
