Vee Arnis Jitsu, also known as VAJ, has been specializing in reality based street self-defense as well as fitness since it was originally founded by Grand Master Vee (Florendo M. Visitacion) over 50 years ago. Our system is constantly updated to meet the challenges of an ever changing society to ensure all of our students have the best tools available to keep themselves safe. In addition to providing regularly scheduled classes at our locations, Vee Arnis Jitsu also brings our techniques to many Law Enforcement, Military and other Government personnel, as well as Private Citizens, through one-on-one instruction, and both private and public seminars at various locations globally. Not only do we instruct on the techniques needed to survive any hostile situation, but we also provide the valuable information that goes with those techniques. For us, it is a high priority that our students can evaluate each situation and understand WHY a technique might be useful in one situation, but detrimental in another. We also provide top of the line fitness instruction. We ensure that our conditioning classes are challenging enough, even for fitness competitors, and yet adaptable enough for beginners to get the workout they need. At Vee Arnis Jitsu, safety and fitness are not only our highest concern - it's our way of life.
