About Velocity Testing Services
Velocity Testing Services is a production tubing testing service out of Dickinson, ND formed in January of 2020. We offer top of the line EMI scanning and hydrostatic pressure testing of downhole tubing. We currently operate four OEM scan units and four MMH test trucks. We also provide 24/7 on call services in Western North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Northwest South Dakota. We built our business on the principles of honesty and a strong work ethic. Our team is trained and qualified for on-floor operations and understands the importance of efficiency and safety. We are committed to providing quality services and great products and that is why we have many long term customers. Hydrotesting is a method used to assess the structural integrity and leak detection of tubing by filling the tubing with water, pressurizing them, and monitoring leaks or pressure loss as cracks or leaks. We have the capability to hydrotest 2 3/8 & 2 7/8 downhole production tubing with bar or drag tools and above or below the slips. Our truck is designed to deliver safe and reliable test pressures up to 15,000 P.S.I. With our doable hose testing, locking stinger, true primary and secondary sheave slings, and our on site safety standards; we provide the safest work environments to the best of our ability. We also offer recordings and a spreadsheet of every pressure test job completed when requested before the job confirming that the job was done accurately. Because of the pass or fail nature of hydrotesting, we also offer downhole pipe scanning services to verify that your tubing has no imperfections and the correct wall thickness necessary to keep your assets producing well into the future. Our equipment and software monitors rod and tubing wear, pitting, splits, and holes. Our units are all equipped with the OEM ARTIS-4 Trip Tool; the latest tubing inspection technology available. They are all certified and rated Class I Division 1.
