About VenHedge Asset Management

Our mission at VenHedge is to help investors diversify and sustainably grow long-term wealth via an endowment-style investment approach (i.e., multiple asset classes, strategies, and managers). We invest alongside families, individuals, institutions, and fund managers as long-term capital partners with shared goals and interests. Our approach blends multiple asset classes and myriad specialized managers and strategies. Some strategies are fully-hedged and therefore have near-zero correlation with the market (arbitrage, relative value, trend following, etc.). Other strategies are partially hedged, such as equity long/short and global macro. And some strategies are intentionally unhedged with the goal of generating outsized returns, often by investing at the cutting edge of technology (venture, digital assets, long-only equity, etc). ______________________________________ Guiding Principles: (1) Embrace Change. We allocate capital dynamically based on critical assessments of dynamic market conditions. We strive to take intelligent risks, anticipate paradigm shifts, and continually evolve in our pursuit of excellence. (2) Fresh Diversification. Harry Markowitz famously called diversification the singular “free lunch” in investing (i.e., for a given return, diversification reduces risk). At VenHedge, we harness diversification by allocating capital across classes, spanning numerous dissimilar managers & strategies. (3) Fully-Aligned Interests. We invest alongside our partners with maximum skin in the game. As stewards of our partners’ capital, we build strong long-term relationships, invest in each other’s success, and foster a culture that holds the collective interests of the partnership in the highest regard. (4) Evergreen Mission. We invest with a perpetual time horizon. Our approach to diversification and risk management is continuous, and we measure the success over the course of multiple years, market cycles, and decades.
