About VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism
VenhoevenCS is an innovative office for sustainable architecture, urban development and infrastructure, attuned to the challenges of our time. The office has an international portfolio of designs, research and consultancy projects and is recognized with numerous publications, awards and exhibitions. VenhoevenCS is active in a broad range of fields: In architecture, we design residential projects, office and utility buildings, sports facilities, care and cure accommodations, schools and infrastructural projects. On a larger scale, we are active from strategic planning and transit-oriented development to master planning and urban design. On a smaller scale, we design interiors and furniture. We specialize in finding integral, spatial solutions for social and cultural issues, on every possible scale. And although we sometimes are involved in rural issues, our main focus is the city and the way it functions. Think of the design of self-supporting cities and emission free buildings, on the development of micro-networks that make recycling and synergy possible, on the revitalization of building types, multiple land utilization, compact building and innovative facade concepts. We believe that the social and cultural aspects in all these subjects are of big importance. The CS in our name refers to it.
