They recognise and reward women in local business for the outstanding contribution they make to our communities. At Venus we believe passionately in recognising and rewarding female owned and female friendly businesses. The Venus Awards started in Dorset in 2009 and have since developed into a growing number of successful regional events. In each region these events are fast becoming known as the social and networking event of the business calendar In the past five years we have partnered with many forward thinking businesses who have helped us spread the word of outstanding female achievement in all areas of enterprise. At Venus we believe that now is the right time to be recognising the achievements of all women in business. Our aim is to reward the outstanding contribution women everywhere make to our local communities and to our society and follow up with support to help them grow.
