VEO is a powerful new learning technology that combines accessible video and data to drive continuous organisational and professional improvement. Our flexible app allows video to be time-stamped with pre-defined performance tags, so you can easily jump to key moments for review. Our secure online portal gives a platform for organisations to observe, communicate and improve performance. Conversations built around on-the-ground reality are most effective at inspiring change in individuals and across organisations. Our intuitive and flexible system can be used in any sector, enhancing CPD with accessible video and rich data of actual practice. Our Story VEO is a Newcastle University spin-off company born out of an innovative concept created in light of our founders’ experiences designing large-scale teacher and leadership training in West Africa. The team found that teachers were struggling to practically apply skills in the classroom, although they fully understood the concepts ‘on paper’, so they tried recording and playing back the teachers’ own performance. Physically seeing how they were, or were not, applying the skills they’d learned completely transformed the teachers’ ability to identify where to improve. Fast-forward to the development of VEO, and the platform now combines video and data to digitally record, track and improve performance, creating ‘lightbulb learning moments’ with its unique time-stamp tagging functionality. Now VEO is not just used by teachers, but healthcare professional, universities, and multi-site or global organisations with a need for remote collaboration and knowledge-sharing too.
