About Veras Academy Karate Association

Veras Academy was established in 2004 by Sensei Raphael Veras, who since then has been focusing on teaching children aged 4 and above. In 2008 Sensei Veras began teaching adults classes, because parents watching their children training wanted to take part, some to improve their confidence and fitness. Some however liked the discipline of his training and consider it the best way to keep motivated. In May 2014 Sensei Raphael has become the Chief Instructor of his own association Veras Academy Karate Association, which is affiliated to the English Karate Federation the only governing body affiliated to the World Karate Federation. Veras Academy’s clubs aim to show their students how karate can change their quality of life. Among the positive points are: self-confidence, emotional control, increased flexibility, improved fitness plus much more. Veras Academy distributes this union and still maintains the principle of Karate inside and outside of the Dojo because there are rules that students must never forget. •WE SHALL SEEK PERFECTION OF CHARACTER •WE SHALL BE FAITHFUL IN OUR STUDY •WE SHALL ENDEAVOR TO CULTIVATE COURAGE AND TENACITY •WE SHALL RESPECT OTHERS •WE SHALL REFRAIN FROM VIOLENT BEHAVIOR Veras Academy offer classes in groups and individuals on a private basis, morning, afternoon and evening.
