About Vermillion Cultural Association
The Vermillion Cultural Association is a nonprofit collective committed to the inclusion of the arts in everyday public life. We host, support, and promote events featuring physical arts, music, film, theater, and literature. In 2015, the VCA purchased the Coyote Twin and Vermillion Theater from the previous owner to save the historic buildings. Over the past three years, the VCA has invested over $300,000 to renovate and refresh both auditoriums in the Coyote Twin; purchased state-of-the-art sound, projection, and lighting for the theaters; opened the First Dakota National Bank Coyote Gallery, Vermillion’s premier rotating art space; and fostered a cinema culture that Vermillion and the greater community can be proud of. In addition to successful operations at the Coyote Twin, the association's current area of effort is replacement of the Vermillion Theater roof.
