About Us: Vestis was a two-sided platform selling contemporary second hand clothing, with a mission to redefine second hand. It had an internationally operating online store, physical store in Iso Omena shopping center, and a consignment service, all with a focus on exceptional customer experience, product quality, and sustainability. A pioneer in the field and a powerful force changing the fashion system from within, Vestis was also trusted by design brands such as Marimekko and Kalevala. It established a long-lasting partnership with Marimekko and created a second hand concept and reuse program for them. The program included highly popular, nationwide in-store reuse events touring in Spring and Fall, serving both the brand client and a wide customer base. Vestis was founded by young entrepreneurs who wanted to create an online fashion destination, where everything would be second hand – and made it into reality. Fueled by a passion to change the way we consume fashion and utilizing new business models and technology, Vestis and the founders empowered people to be part of a society that gets excited about reusing.
