About Veteco UK

Our mission is grounded in the belief that if each business, big or small, were to implement just one simple but meaningful change in their daily habits which cut their plastic use, collectively they could significantly reduce the release of harmful micro-plastics and toxins into the soil and into our seas, having a huge, positive effect on global health. The solution which we have focused on is the development of sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics as we believe these are the worst offenders. We do not use bio-plastics in any of our products as these can often require large amounts of energy to produce in the first place. In addition, they do not degrade very well under natural composting or landfill conditions due to the fact that they are chemically very similar to plastic, despite being derived from plants. Instead, we use natural fibres such as cotton, paper and card which biodegrade much faster under normal landfill or composting conditions into organic matter. All of our packaging is plastic-free and no synthetic dyes are used to make our products. In the future, we hope to bring you more new and exciting products which align with our vision and can continue to help your business make a positive impact. We believe it is our responsibility to create a healthier future for animals and the planet by reducing plastic pollution which adversely affects our people, animals, planet and wildlife, whilst simultaneously driving sustainability within the animal health industries and championing a One Health approach.
