We are a 501(C)(3) established in 2023 to close the veteran-employer culture gap, prepare veterans for career success, and reduce veteran suicide. WHAT DO WE DO: We share “insights from the employer side of the desk” to improve: Awareness – of the work world veterans are seeking to enter Understanding – of the tools, techniques, people, processes, norms and expectations in the civilian work world Ability – to engage with employers in a way they can understand HOW WE DO IT 1. Providing service members and veterans free access to two great transition books: “Military Career Transition: Insights from the Employer Side of the Desk” “Veteran Career Journey: More Insights from the Employer Side of the Desk” 2. Delivering training based on these books: “Transition Basics - Intelligence Preparation of the Career Battlefield” “Transition 201 - Actions on the Objective: Success After Landing” WHY WE DO IT: We’ve seen too many of our brothers and sisters’ struggle through the pain, hurdles and challenges of career transition directly and indirectly. Far too many have succumbed to suicide.
