About Veteran Housing Group CiC

Founded by Veterans, with their own journey and experiences, we understand the specific needs of our Veterans, so we deliver tailored solutions to enable them to thrive independently. Delivering structured solutions, specific services and long-term assistance for Veterans returning to civilian life. With the aim that our Veterans: • Achieve Independent living, • Enhance and develop their existing and new skills, in readiness for employment, • Receive the support to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing, and • Access suitable employment opportunities. With a range of partners and providers we ensure that each Veteran is guided through their personal programme with the aim that they are not homeless or unemployed by choice. We put the Veterans in control of their transition, removing the fear of the unknown and the frustration they might feel in a new environment. They will not feel excluded and will be able to fully participate in all the programmes and opportunities, there will be support and mentoring from someone with lived experiences and the skills and training to get the best for and from the Veteran. We explore all opportunities in pursuit of our goals by fostering beneficial long-term partnerships with Local Authorities, Funders, Housing providers, Support Agencies, Training organisations, Health and Well-being services and employers. So collectively we deliver the outstanding support and the highest possible standard of services and accommodation that ensures a successful transition to a secure and fulfilling civilian life. The teams we build to deliver our programmes will consist of Veterans, those with a military association and some with no experience but the passion to want to join us, so we’ll make sure they understand how best to work with us.
