About Veterans Army

Our Mission We believe that those who have served their country should receive unparalleled support and recognition following their military careers. That’s why Veteran’s Army was founded in 2021, to helps those Veterans who are suffering from PTSD and those who have fallen into addiction, homelessness or unemployment. What we do • We help Veterans face civilian life following their careers in the Armed Forces • We offer one-on-one and group therapy sessions and bootcamps to support Veterans with PTSD and mental health • We offer training courses and funding to increase employment opportunities • We support the Veteran’s families and the wider community • We provide rehabilitation programs for overcoming drug and alcohol dependency and assistance with homelessness • We train and provide therapy dogs to Veterans and their families • We stand up and speak out about the challenges facing those leaving the Armed Forces Meet the Founder Like so many who have served in the Armed Forces, our Founder Ryan Yates has suffered with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Having spent seven years in the elite 4/73 (Sphinx) Special OP Battery R.A. unit, Ryan’s military life included a range of conventional and clandestine combat experience, which involved two operational tours of Afghanistan. During the start of his recovery, (which he initially kept very private) a number of Ryan’s colleagues who he had served alongside committed suicide following battles with their mental health. This motivated Ryan to support others through their challenges with PTSD. How to get involved?
