About Veterinary Architects
Veterinary Architects was set up 14 years ago as a subsidiary of Jonathan Clark Architects, an award winning practice with 24 years of understanding, knowledge & experience. At Veterinary Architects, we understand animal welfare and the veterinary profession. We bring our design and architectural expertise to animal rehoming centres and charities, veterinary practices and larger animal hospitals with over 50 animal welfare projects now completed. We know how important your work is, what it means to your patients and their owners lives. We understand how your business runs, the little details that make such a difference and the standards that you work to and strive to achieve. We have been working with world renowned Battersea Dogs & Cats Home since 2011 both at their Battersea site and at their Old Windsor and have now completed 9 projects for them with the total refurbishment of their 4,000m2 rehoming block for dogs and cats completed in 2023. Working with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has been a humbling experience for us. It has made us understand how important animal welfare is and the work of the veterinary profession in general. We have been hugely privileged to work on such projects and wish to share this experience and knowledge with you. We are equally at home handling a small-scale refurbishment or a multi-million pound hospital. No job is too small or too large - our completed projects range from less than £100K to over £25.0M in construction cost. In addition to designing rehoming and veterinary practices in the UK, our specialist experience has taken us all over world now with animal welfare projects in the UAE, Europe, Australia and America. We are a multi-discipline RIBA Chartered Practice, well versed in architecture, project management and interior design. We love new challenges, pushing boundaries and discovering new technologies.
