We offer specialty services in cardiology, internal medicine, oncology and surgery, along with emergency care to family veterinarians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Having multiple specialties under one roof, allows VETMED to practice collaborative medicine and provide patients with continuity of care between medical disciplines while at VETMED. Our Doctors are able to benefit professionally from a multidiscipline practice where they can discuss treatment plans, drug protocols, research and innovative techniques. In 2013 VETMED was awarded an Emergency Service and Referral Accreditation for our specialty services by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), an industry standard-bearer. We are one of five veterinary referral hospitals in Arizona to hold this distinction. VETMED was founded by a veterinarian, is managed by veterinarians, and is supported by a team of dedicated people.
