In 1999 ViaTour was born as a niche market solution for non-profit and for-profit travel planners in the educational travel market. However, due to its flexibility and ready-to-launch design, our user base has expanded to include in- and outbound tour operators, coach companies, student and bank travel programs, Our clients have in common the desire to: - Streamline day-to-day tracking and communications with travelers and vendors - Improve service - Access operational and strategic reports easily - To grow their business ViaTour's design reflects our intimate knowledge of this industry's needs. The president of ViaTour worked in educational travel for 10 years in student travel, at an active museum travel program and as the owner of a tour company specializing in custom tours. The application is constantly enhanced with time saving buttons, powerful reports and useful new tracking - the result of an ongoing dialogue with current users. Via Tour users may opt into a collaborative model, where through an affordable annual maintenance plan frequent upgrades deliver enhancements for a fraction of the development cost. ViaTour is a professionally-developed Microsoft Access application and makes extensive use of VBA and SQL. ViaTour works well with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, allowing easy transfer of data in and out of Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. ViaTour is supported under Microsoft Access 2000, Microsoft Access 2003 and Microsoft Access 2007. ViaTour offers four levels: Basic, Standard, Pro and Enterprise to meet the needs of small to large organizations.
