JJ didn’t start flying until the age of 35. Mentored by aviation legends, including members of the Tuskegee Airmen, he knows firsthand the power of second chances and the impact of representation. Now, at 60 and back in the airline cockpit, JJ is sharing those lessons through storytelling and action. The cornerstone of our work is YIKES! 100 Smart Pilots and the Dumb Things They Did, a compelling book that captures real-world aviation mistakes turned life-saving lessons. Every book sold helps fund aviation scholarships and flight simulators in schools that need them most. Our goal? Sell one million copies and reinvest the proceeds directly into training and resources for aspiring pilots.
