Victoria International Ballet Academy provides the highest quality professional, pre-professional, and recreational dance programs. Our master ballet instructors build on 300 years of experience developed by the world famous Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russia. Ourstudents receive their education only from highly qualified teachers. Victoria International Ballet Academy provides both professional ballet training and high level academics at the elementary and high school levels. The school is located in Concord, the City of Vaughan, just north of Toronto, Ontario within the Greater Toronto Area. It recently moved to its new premises from Thornhill, Markham location. Victoria International Ballet Academy was founded in 2003 by Mrs. Victoria Mironova (Evdokimova), M. Ed., one of the most distinguished ballet teachers in Canada. The weekend and after-school recreational dance classes cover a broad range of activities such as ballet, character dance, modern and ballet gymnastics. Our program expands children’s talents, develops their physical, social and intellectual skills, educates them in the art of dance, identifies and prepares the most gifted students for the Professional Ballet and Academic Program. The after-school dance classes also provide high-school students with an additional opportunity to earn credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
