About Victoria Ciara Foundation

In 1997, Victoria Ciara Hegeman was born with several heart defects. At just 17 days old, doctor's performed Victoria's first life-saving open heart surgery. Since then, Victoria has had three more surgeries, including the most recent one in 2021. Nearly 25 years later, the Victoria Ciara Foundation was born to help individuals and families facing Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). The foundation provides: -financial assistance -socialization opportunities with other CHD individuals and families -access to resources like massages, counseling, and recreation -mentorship -workshops -scholarships
