ViDiTrust ViDiTrust was born as a spin-off of the University of Siena, an ex-innovative startup and today scaled up. The quality of the ViDiTrust brand technology is demonstrated by the skills of the founding members and the team: a very strong research component, concerning the use and protection of visual information. represented by Prof. Mauro Barni, President of the Scientific Committee, by Giacomo Cancelli (CEO) and Marco Cappellini (President). ViDiTrust has patented, after an extensive research and design process, a simple and effective way to verify the authenticity of products through a commercial Android or Apple smartphone. Each and every offset printing process has a unique fingerprint that ViDiTrust is able to model and store in the cloud. The ViSeQR® simple marker, with no hidden features, and not clonable, is suitable for labels, packaging and documents, and can be verified by the ViSeQR® app by more than 2 billion smartphones. ViSeQR® consists of a two-dimensional code (QRcode) placed inside a square frame (it is this area that "carries" the DNA of the process that generated that print). ViDiTrust envisions a society where the end consumer can trust what they see after a few seconds of verification. Upon discovering that the product is true they can learn about the values behind the brand including the narratives that generated the knowledge and passion necessary to achieve that result.
