About Vienna School of Clinical Research
The Vienna School of Clinical Research (VSCR) is an independent international non-profit organisation dedicated to the continuing postgraduate education of physicians and other life science experts who are involved in clinical research. The courses cover all topics relevant to clinical research including GCP, development and design of study protocols, biostatistics, project management, clinical epidemiology, ethics, grant writing, biomedical research manuscript writing and publication. This educational programme aims to optimize clinical research by minimising risks and costs while maximising scientific value at highest ethical and quality standards. Additionally VSCR has developed educational competence in the area of Health Economic Research, Evidence based Medicine, Health technology assessment and Systematic Reviews. All courses are academically acccredited and receive European continuing medical education (CME) credit points. Since 2009 the VSCR offers as well a MSc programe (90 ECTS points) for a Master degree in Clinical Research in partnership with the Medical University Vienna. Based on a partnership between public bodies, academic centres and private sponsors the VSCR promotes international dialogue and exchange, thus establishing networks and building bridges between stakeholders.
