About Vietnam Volunteer Network

The Vietnam Volunteer Network is an organisation which has a wide range of volunteering opportunities in Vietnam. We also provide aid such as; medical, food supplies, educational books & toys to the children & carers at the orphanages & Peace Villages we support. Apart from the need to help the development of healthy kids at orphanages; there is also a high percentage of children who are afflicted with hydrocephalus, malformations, physical & mental disabilities, which is often attributed to Agent Orange &/or malnutrition. Volunteers with the following skills are urgently required help these children in need:- Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dentists and other professionals within the medical profession. People can donate their time & make a difference to help care for the sick, malformed & disabled children, or teach English, art therapy, music, physical education & other skills at orphanages. Our projects also include; organising operations for babies afflicted with hydrocephalus, spinal issues, webbed hands & toes, aid & prosthetics for people who have been made disabled by unexploded land mines, cows for women who have been affected by land mines, animals for Agent Orange children at Agent Orange centres, & cows for poor rural Agent Orange families.
