Village Pizza Kitchen is an award-winning pizza business with a full service restaurant in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex, a production kitchen in Brighton, a dedicated kiosk at the iconic American Express Stadium and two converted horse boxes used for event catering. We are passionate about showcasing amazing British produce and supporting local producers, which is reflected in many of the ingredients we use in both our pizza and pasta dishes. We make almost everything from scratch, from our pizza dough and sauce to our pizza toppings, pasta dishes and puddings. We serve our signature stone baked pizzas in the restaurant, which we make using a long ferment biga pizza dough using a blend of stoneground wholegrain and 00 flours sourced directly from ancient mills in the Cotswolds, resulting in pizzas which are light and airy with rich and complex flavours. At the Amex Stadium, you can find our delicious Detroit style pizzas available by the slice in the Lower East stand, whilst our stone baked pizzas are available in the hospitality lounges. From our production kitchen, we supply a range of products including par baked topped pizzas, Detroit bases, slow cooked marinara sauce and focaccia bread for food service and wholesale. Our customers include a number of premiership football stadiums and London restaurants. We also cater a number of public and private events with our two converted horse boxes, including major events such as the Royal International Show Jumping event at Hickstead to smaller special occasions such as weddings and birthdays. We are incredibly proud to have been crowned the UK's Best Independent Pizza Takeaway & Delivery Store in 2024 and 2023 by the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Association, to have been voted the 5th Best Restaurant in Sussex in 2025, to have come second in the National Pizza Awards in two of the three main categories and to have been shortlisted for 'Best Pizzeria' and 'Britain's Best Pizza'.
