About Village Treasure House

Village Treasure House is a unique, non profit consignment shop. Located in Northbrook on the border of Glenview, we are a furniture consignment and home furnishings warehouse. A small group of women in Glenview met in 1995 to discuss opening a not-for-profit consignment shop offering fine home furnishings. They could not have imagined the impact it would have on their communities . Village Treasure House opened for business in 1997 and a year later awarded $6000 in grants. We have now given away $3,000,000! In 2008, we moved to our 3rd third location, a warehouse showroom in Northbrook, Illinois. Village Treasure House is staffed almost entirely by over 100 dedicated volunteers who handle everything from sales to merchandising to computer support. Our merchandise includes upscale and vintage furniture and home décor. We are a convenient resource for those in need of selling or donating home furnishings, as well as a great “find” for those wanting to purchase high quality items, at bargain prices, for a worthy cause. Our inventory changes daily. We have a wide selection of merchandise including artwork, china, crystal, area rugs, dining room tables, sofas, chairs, figurines and lamps. When you consign, donate and shop at our store, you are supporting an amazing group of local agencies.
