About VILMAR

It is located 180 km northwest from the Romanian capital, Bucharest, in a picturesque historical area, surrounded by green hills and mountains holding well known spas with natural springs, on the right side of the largest Romanian river, Olt. Established in 1971, VILMAR reached the highest standards of excellence after 1991, when it was bought by Groupe Genoyer who turned it into a modern manufacturing plant. The massive investments made by the French owner along with its worldwide strategy and the highest quality standards are our strengths now. Covering 25 hectares of which 10 are workshops hosting the latest technology equipment, employing a staff of nearly 400, being directly connected to the major transportation routes, the company is located in the southern industrial zone of Ramnicu Valcea city. Vilmar manufactures and sells a diversified range of technological equipment and components parts used in several industries: petroleum and natural gas, chemical, petrochemical, energy, mining, nuclear, water, subsea, etc.
