About Vimy Analytics

We are Vimy Analytics Inc., a Toronto-based company focused on explainable AI analytics and decision‐optimization company with deep expertise in temporal and spatial data processing. At Vimy, we recognize the importance of ensuring human operators have an idea of what an AI assistant is thinking in order to build trust and foster collaboration between human and machine. To do this, we take a more mathematically rigourous approach (inspired from our backgrounds in robot perception and control theory) to ensure that, as the developers, we know exactly what is going on 'under the hood' of the algorithm so we can explain that to the consumer. Our expertise lies in our ability to turn complex problems into structured mathematical algorithms and then turn math into words. In addition to managing government and private contracts, we’re developing two commercial products: FLARE (Flight‐Level Adaptive Routing Engine), a Waze-style 3D tablet app that fuses weather radar, terrain maps, mission data and dispatcher–pilot collaboration into real-time AI-driven flight path optimization for low-altitude operations (initially targeting Canadian medevac, utility, wildfire management and private aviation, then military and international markets), and AFAMS (Aircraft Fleet Analytics and Management Software), an offline platform that centralizes maintenance records, operational history and digital aircraft data to produce real-time health scores, predictive maintenance schedules and logistics recommendations that reduce costs, extend asset life and improve compliance. Our small four-person team combines aerospace, defense, robotics and AI experience, and we’re eager to connect with pilots, fleet operators and the broader Canadian aerospace community to refine and test our demos.
